Formerly owned by MacroMedia and acquired by Adobe, DreamWeaver is considered to be one of the easiest web authoring tools available to date allowing HTML code to be hidden behind the overall design making layout a breeze. Considered to be a WYSIWYG editor it can be set to display the HTML equivalent of the page so more experienced developers can exact more strict control over the page they are designing.
